Media observers who have spent the last few months speculating on the seemingly magical growth of Britney Spears' breasts have been offered an explanation by the star herself, who claims that the transformation is down to a growth spurt and not breast implants.

"When I first signed with the record label, we took a lot of photos, and those were the pictures that got used. I weighed 105 pounds; I weigh 130 now.
